The use of Digital Media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for Generation Z

This study aims to explore the use of digital media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning for generation Z, which is known for its digital native characteristics. The methodology used in this study is a literature study, by reviewing various sources, including journals, books, and related articles that discuss the integration of digital media in the PAI learning process. The results of the study indicate that digital media, such as learning videos, mobile applications, and online learning platforms, can increase students’ interest and understanding of PAI material. In addition, the use of digital media has also proven effective in creating better interactions between teachers and students, as well as supporting more interactive and contextual learning. In conclusion, the integration of digital media in PAI learning in the era of generation Z is an inevitable need to improve the effectiveness and quality of religious education in schools.Downloads
