The Effect of the Use of the Demonstration Method on the Interest in Learning to Read in RA Muslimat NU 11 Children

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of the demonstration method on the interest in reading and learning in children in RA Muslimat NU 11. The demonstration method allows the child to see firsthand how a word or letter is read and written correctly. With this approach, children are easier to understand the concept of reading and are more interested in learning actively. The results of the study show that the demonstration method has a positive influence on children's interest in reading and learning. Children who are taught with this method show a higher level of enthusiasm compared to conventional learning methods. They are more active in participating in learning, understand the material faster, and are more motivated to practice reading. Thus, it can be concluded that the demonstration method is an effective strategy in increasing children's interest in learning to read in RA Muslimat NU 11. The implications of this study show that educators should apply the demonstration method more widely to increase the effectiveness of reading learning in early childhood.References
