Abstract

Abstract: In the ever-evolving world of education, the learning and teaching process can no longer rely on conventional methods that are one-way. Education is truly a living process, involving human interaction between educators and students. This study aims to explore the application of active and innovative learning strategies that place students as the main subjects in the learning process. With a humanistic approach, this strategy encourages emotional, intellectual, and social involvement of students through meaningful and contextual activities. The method used involves literature studies. The results of the study indicate that active and innovative learning increases students' learning motivation, sense of responsibility, and critical thinking skills. In addition, a harmonious relationship between teachers and students is formed stronger, creating a learning environment that supports the growth of each individual's potential. The conclusion of this study confirms that a learning approach that prioritizes human values not only makes the learning process more effective, but also makes learning more meaningful so that it is beneficial for the lives of students.
